NBDC/DBCLS BioHackathon 2015 will be held at the Nagasaki University and the Luke Plaza Hotel in Nagasaki, Japan.

Nagasaki suffered from the last atomic bomb during the Second World War. The Atomic Bomb Disease Institute in Nagasaki University was established in 1962 and human genetics has been one of the major research interests at the institute. Therefore, Nagasaki is an ideal place to organize the 8th NBDC/DBCLS BioHackathon for extending and accelerating our previous efforts on standardization and utilization of medical and genome information for life sciences.
